Miss Leigh As a born and raised Yukoner I feel extremely privileged to be teaching in the north, especially at the same little elementary school I attended many years ago! It is a profound honour to be a part of the Golden Horn family and I am so excited to learn alongside our enthusiastic students as we embark on new adventures! When I'm not busy in the classroom I love to go for a run on nearby trails or garden in my backyard. I spend rainy days curled up with a good book and cup of tea. I love to travel! There is a beautiful world out there and so much to see and explore outside of the classroom. I love cooking and trying new recipes from around the world. I play the piano and ukulele and my favourite colour is yellow!
Mrs. Clark
This is my sixth winter living and working in the Yukon. I have worked in several schools in Alberta, NWT, Nunavut and now in the Yukon. I am loving work in the primary grades, although I have thoroughly enjoyed my experiences from Kindergarten through grade 12. Working at Elijah Smith Elementary School, and now Golden Horn have both been a fantastic learning experiences for me! My husband and I have two grown sons that live and work in Alberta. We love to travel and spending time exploring the Yukon and Alaska has given us both many fabulous once in a lifetime memories that will never be forgotten!
